At SoftLoft, I played a leading role in the end-to-end development of a scalable, cloud-based platform designed for IoT device management in healthcare environments. My responsibilities spanned backend architecture, front-end development, system integration, and security compliance, with a focus on delivering reliable and regulatory-aligned digital solutions. On the backend, I engineered a robust, microservices-based infrastructure capable of managing thousands of connected IoT devices in real-time. This included implementing secure, role-based access control (RBAC), advanced data ingestion pipelines, and predictive analytics engines to surface actionable insights for clinicians and hospital administrators. In parallel, I led the front-end development of a clinician-facing mobile application that integrates tightly with our Nimble platform. Built for both iOS and Android, the app provides real-time alerts, concise patient data summaries, and critical decision support, all within a user-friendly interface tailored for busy clinical settings. A critical part of the project was system integration. I successfully led the integration of our platform with multiple hospital systems, including HL7-compliant electronic medical records (EMRs) and proprietary lab data sources. This required not only technical expertise in data interoperability and FHIR standards but also deep collaboration with hospital IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption to care delivery. Security and regulatory compliance were foundational to the project. I designed and implemented architecture supporting full data encryption at rest and in transit, user authentication mechanisms (including 2FA and OAuth 2.0), and detailed audit logging. All security features were built to meet the strict requirements of Norwegian and EU data protection laws, including GDPR and Norwegian HelseID frameworks. Finally, I established a DevOps workflow and CI/CD pipelines that enabled frequent, safe releases without interrupting mission-critical hospital operations. This included automated testing, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and real-time monitoring tools to ensure platform reliability. Overall, my experience with SoftLoft has been defined by delivering complex, secure, and scalable health tech solutions that meet clinical needs while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational continuity.

We were in close contact with the development team throughout the project and had updates on progress which were also shared directly with the client. Development and testing proceeded according to the expected project timeline. We worked with a business analyst and a technical project manager who in turn managed the developer on the project. The project was delivered on time. The team was responsive to our needs consistently, and in many cases proactively. The ease with which we can work together. They have good communication across their teams and consistently good results.
